We are looking for some intrepid birders to help us atlas the boreal
forests, bogs and wetland habitats of the Penokee Hills! Join the Wisconsin
Society for Ornithology and guest field trip leaders Ryan Brady and Nick
Anich tomorrow morning to learn the ins and outs of atlasing. For those
attending, this is rugged terrain! Please note the following advice from
our field trip leaders:
1. Waterproof footwear, preferably knee-high rubber boots, are highly
recommended.
2. There will be many mosquitoes and deer flies – headnets, gloves, and/or
bug spray are a must.
3. Aside from ample woodlands, there are no bathroom facilities available
on the trip.
