Our most active outing in some time, many different species were on the move this morning. As per usual, the first three hours were our busiest, when Caspian Tern (78), Common Loon (27), Horned Grebe (26), Blue-winged Teal (67), Red-breasted Merganser (358) and Bonaparte's Gull (243) were all moving in good numbers. Of note, another single White-winged Scoter was added and Common Goldeneye (3) was seen for the first time in a while. But the swallows were the big story on this day. Tree (179) and Barn (63) dominated the totals, accompanied by Northern Rough-winged (17), Bank (1), Cliff (3) and Purple Martin (2) as well. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S18074740 Jonathan Stein Belgium, WI #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
