It's disturbing when one sees a Robin on the Suet Feeder. I wasn't sure
what food to give these birds, no berries but had Cilantro. If I brought
out a suet chunk, guess who came to the patio, 30 turkeys and squirrels
(yeah, they gotta eat too). I even shoveled the snow (it was ice - no
wonder the birds couldn't get to the bottom to the ground) to expose the
grass. It was hilarious watching Fox Sparrows walk with their little
legs over snow lumps instead of flying from the patio to the tree line. God
blessed us with a beautiful view this morning of Frothy and snow stuck
trees for the last Hurrah!!!! Let Spring begin and hopefully all the
little birdies have enough energy to shuffle the leaves in the woods and
get food.
