My son Steve and I just returned from Observatory Hill in Marquette County where we saw a Townsend's Solitaire. The bird was moving around quite a bit at the top of the hill (follow the people tracks in the snow from the parking lot). There is a very large flock of Cedar Waxwings, a few Robins and Purple Finches as well. All are feasting on the cones of red cedars. Also, it appears that the resident fisher has found a mate as there are now two sets of tracks, one smaller than the other, hunting together. -Daryl Christensen Marquette co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
