Spent the day kayaking the Pensaukee river from Hwy 141 to Bell Bridge Rd.
There was a lot of bird activity along the way.
- 7 flocks of 3-15 Golden and Ruby Crowned Kinglets
- 2 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers
- 7 Great Blue Herons
- 4 E. Phoebes
- 2 Winter Wrens
- 4 Fox Sparrows
- 1 Swamp Sparrow
- 3 Kingfishers
- 1 Hermit Thrush
- 2 small flocks of Grackles
- 1 Rusty Blackbird
- 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler

And the first Silver Maples I've seen in anthesis this spring.
