This morning, five of us were able to flush two different pairs of SMITH'S LONGSPURS between 6:30 and 8:10. The first pair landed in the far NW corner, and the latter in the SE corner near the road. We also had several VESPER SPARROWS and two GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS. Others found a GREEN HERON, and there was a possible LECONTE'S SPARROW.
