Just had an email from Jim Otto. He had a Red-necked Grebe and several Yellow-headed Blackbirds at Schoeneberg Marsh in Columbia County yesterday evening, viewed from the east-west part of Harvey looking north. With luck, the grebes will nest there again this year. Note that eventually, the east-west portion of Harvey Rd. (now closed) will be removed, along with half of the north-south portion beyond the gate. There will still be a narrower walking path going out as far as the existing curve.
