promulgated and approved recently by the Am. Ornithologistsâ Union (AOU),

2. Another interesting action occurred in the âsparrow/towhee/juncoâ
family, per:

2015-B-13a: Revise the Thraupidae: Transfer 14 genera from the Emberizidae to
the Thraupidae - PASSED
3. As for the Red Carpet VIPs, in my humble opinion â the wood-warblers â
AOU did not do much
that was pertinent to WI/N.A. warblers among the
approximately 56 annually occurring north of Mexico.
In other words, the Yellow-breasted Chat is still in the wood-warbler family,
as I continue to scratch my head with both hands in disbelief
while typing these words with my nose.
