I called my mom in Oshkosh tonight - she happened to mention that yesterday
(Thursday,) she had seen a "little blue bird" on the ground under the feeders.
She said it was sparrow-sized and "blue-blue" (as opposed to blue-gray) pretty
much all over. She didn't notice it today, but said she wasn't out in the
kitchen much so didn't really check the feeders. I will call her tomorrow to
check on whether she sees it again - if so, I'll post to the list. Chris West
me called right after I got off the phone with her and mentioned that he had
missed the Illinois Beach SP Mountain Bluebird this afternoon... hmmm....

What a time of year to have a bum knee... grrrr.
