For this newbie, eBird is that valuable digital location finder.  The Great WI 
Birding & Nature trail is also nice and it comes in print and digital forms 
(http://www.wisconsinbirds.org/trail/maps.htm). Additionally, there are some 
very helpful maps under the files tab of the WI Birding Fb group: 
https://www.facebook.com/notes/wisconsin-birding/google-birding-maps-wi/190156524400164.
  Between those and "the Google", I can't say that I've been left wanting in 
terms of finding birding spots.  Just my two cents...
