On looking at my photos of the phalaropes at Truax Pond, it appears that one is a Wilson and one is a Red-necked. There is an obvious difference in size. The larger one has the black stripe up the side of the neck and head with white over the crown of the head. The smaller one has red around the back of the neck and the entire head is dark, no white. In addition to the white-rumped sandpipers, there was also a spotted and a least sandpiper.
