Dear WISBIRDN family,
As you all know by now from Pat Readyâs note, Peter passed away this evening.
We knew it wasnât going to be long but quite honestly, this still came as a
shock. Iâm still reeling from the news.
Thank you for your outpouring of thoughts and remembrances addressed to Peter.
They were all forwarded as soon as they arrived.
Iâll keep you posted about any planned service but as you are well aware, it
is a very difficult time for public gatherings and Peter would not want anyone
to take unnecessary risks. I donât have any family contact information at the
moment but when I do (or if anyone out there does please share) it will be
posted on the list.
Knowing Peter he really would want you to put on a happy face and get out there
and bird, enjoy nature, and stay safe.
Keep Peter in your thoughts during the coming spring migration. And remember -
wherever Peter is, heâs going to know if you donât sign your posts to the
list properly and youâll be hearing from him in some form or another.
Thanks yo you all -
Best,
Tom
