Hey everyone --- Gulls around the Oshkosh area continue to increase, though I haven't been able to get concentrated on any such gathering. The Wisconsin St bridge area seems to have the most, but I haven't been able to make any time to check them over thoroughly. Est'd number around here, 300 birds. At the end of Mill St., one of my best known stops, had no odd gulls, but about 30 Com Goldeneyes and 2 eagles. This is a "mouth of the Fox" stop. Had a flyover robin here 2 days ago. Yard sightings? Hardly a thing, though the song of "cheese-burger" sounded like a mighty fine suggestion. Thank you, Mr.Chickadee. Had a gull flight go past this afternoon, saw one bird looking smaller, binocs not handy, thought to be an obvious ringbill, but who knows.... Some random goldfinches made an audible appearance, too. I'll try to make it up to Neenah soon again to check things over, congrats to my buddy Tom, with Sylvia, finding the BlK. Holy needle-in-the-haystack, Batman.
