Thought I'd go north of Madison and look for longspurs today. I didn't find any. I had seen a small group near Stoughton yesterday and today had a p.finch and siskin at the feeder. So, I thought things may have been moving up. I expect the later flight of longspurs should be coming soon. Anyhow , there was still W-F , Cackling and a Ross's goose at Wangsness road. More W-F north of 60 on Harvey. Only a few swans along Cty I.
