I could not find the Port Washington Slaty-backed Gull this afternoon. I
talked to 7 other birders from 1:00 P.M.-4:30 P.M. and none of them had seen
it. It was good to see the Red-throated Loon behaving normally, so hopefully
it survived its ordeal without ill effects.
