A quick stop at Nine Springs gave me a few year birds: Semipalmated Plover - reported yesterday. The Plover was on the second pond. Black-crowned Night-heron - two people flushed the bird from a brushy path just past the 4th pond. It flew up to the tall trees just past the 4th pond. A pair of Solitary Sandpipers - on the south side of the main east/west road. Barn Swallows. Nothing else new there today.
