Thank you everyone for the wonderful heartfelt responses to my earlier post
concerning the death of my 19 year old Impeyan Pheasant . Originally my
pheasant did not have a name, but in his later years I called him Rock, as he
seemed to be the "Rock of Ages" as he kept going from year to year. This past
winter he spent in one of our sheds, but he loved the snow and spent all his
previous years outside (with a variety of shelters in his pen). I posted a
picture of him taken a little over one year ago on my Flicker page if you would

Again, thanks for all the emails and sentiments - feels silly to be so attached
to a pheasant but he was just a delight through the years. Looking forward to
spring and the return of my many hummingbirds. Wishing you all the best.
