Greetings!

We set up the nets for only a few hours yesterday...very chilly in the AM.
Had a relatively slow day of banding, but always fun to be out in the
field.

Species banded include: ruby-crowned kinglet (4), yellow-rumped warbler,
a stunning male ASY black & white warbler, hermit thrush (4), and an
American robin.

A recaptured black-capped chickadee from 17 Oct. 2008 was caught the other
day when we set up nets very briefly.

Some species observed: golden-crowned kinglet, Eastern towhee, blue jays,
white-throated sparrow, and Eastern phoebe.

Next banding sessions will be May 5, 6, and 7th, weather permitting.

Cheers for now, Mickey
