The Vermillion County (IN) prosecuting attorney's office has issued a press
release regarding the case involving the shooting of a Whooping Crane last year.
Many people were enraged by the light sentencing and low fines passed down by
the court recently. The county government must have felt the pressure to put
out some sort of explanation.
