The Avocet was still present at 3:45 P.M., northwest of the pumphouse on the Fond du Lac County side. Also present were many yellowlegs, a dozen or more Black-bellied Plovers, 6 (FOY) Long-billed Dowitchers, Pectoral Sandpipers, Dunlin, Semipalmated Sandpipers, and among the Dunlin, 1 Baird's Sandpiper. A probable Snow Goose was on the Dodge County side (judged by size only); I was studying the dowitchers and it left before I could get back to it. Both a year and state bird for me. Dave Schrab Dodge Co WI #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
