Mikko, there is no way, other then operating on them, to tell for sure whether
they are male or female, however in the raptor world females are usually
bigger.
So it is possible to make an educated guess based on the size of the bird.

Thanks,

Jeff & others,

Can someone educate me and tell how one can tell a female Golden Eagle from a
male? I thought this is not possible.

Thanks,

Mikko
