This afternoon there was an adult Franklin's gull on Harvey Road, just north of Hy 60. It was on the edge of the east flooded field with 3 r-b gulls. The Franklin's was very rosy, even on the back of it's neck. At the end of Harvey there were 2 Red-necked Grebes. I was looking north and they were quite aways out. I only saw 1 Yellow-headed Blackbird. Down at Harvey and Wangsness, there was a Ross's Goose with some Cackling Geese. A pipit was on the westside of Harvey. Not much for shorebirds. Cty V had the most shorebirds. At the westend there was 25 Pectorals, 1 Dunlin and a couple Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs. There were Bonaparte's gulls at most places, with alot at Cty V. Driving the field areas on the way north and south, I didn't see any longspurs. Lots of Horned Larks and Savannah Sparrows, with some Vespers.
