We had a flock of about 60 hawks riding the thermals over the house this morning. I thought the ID on them would be easy, because of their distinct characteristic(s). WRONG. I have gone through two bird guides now and come up dry. Nothing matches, and only 1 or 2 species are kinda-sorta close maybe. I did snap a few pictures of one of the hawks that just happened to separate and fly lower. (Whew!) I would greatly appreciate your expertise in identifying who these birds are?? All the pertinent info is posted w/ the pics in an album: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=229072&id=726841132&l=95e638ccda THANK YOU for your suggestions!! :) Karin Hankwitz Liberty Grove Northern Door County Twitter: @dcnaturenut #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
