As Peter has pointed out, another round of kicking addresses off has occurred. And once again, I’m put addresses back on so you’ll receive the “welcome” message once more. Sorry for all the confusion but we’re doing the best we can to combat what appears to be severe issues caused by Yahoo. As mentioned before, I am not reinstating any Yahoo accounts. However, there are still some Yahoo accounts that were not kicked off this time and those will remain in place (unless they also get dumped in the next round). I’ve been working with freelists.org who, as Peter mentioned, has been extremely frustrated with Yahoo who in turn has been very at arms-length with their customer service. In fact Yahoo hacked addresses have accounted for the bulk of headaches at freelists.org (not limited to just Wisbirdn but with other lists using freelists.org) for some time. What’s strange is that Yahoo has specifically required freelists.org to implement Yahoo-specific filtering which freelists.org has done but clearly, Yahoo continues to be problematic for the listserv. I’m afraid the only way around this is to use another free email service such as gmail. If and when there is a resolution to Yahoo then all addresses will be added again. Be advised that sbcglobal is also linked to Yahoo… Menawhile you can follow postings on Wisbirdn at the archives: //www.freelists.org/archive/wisbirdn/ Tom Sykes Wisbirdn List Owner sykes@xxxxxxxxxx #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
