This has happened to me before. It's quite a pain to set things right with the various lists one might belong to... But I don't think the problem with Yahoo has much to do with whether one's passwords are insecure or weak. I had a secure and strong password and I had the problem. Occasionally hackers can break into Yahoo (and other e-mail systems) and steal IDs and passwords, no matter how strong and secure the passwords might be. The key here is to change your password on a regular basis.
