As the Schwalbe's reported a month or two back, it appears that Common Ravens are out and about Pardeeville. While out doing some yard work this morning I heard one, probably two Common Ravens calling to the north. A little while later I could hear their low guttural rattle coming from a tall stand of White Pines about a hundred yards to the north of our lot. Hopefully they will stick around to nest and Becky and I can see them to add them to our county list! The furthest south we have observed Ravens before was at my dads place which is about 11 miles north of Montello in Marquette County.
