Was trying to avoid road construction on Highway 10 which got me close enough to Collins to take some time to drive around the marsh. Only time I got out of the truck was to glass over the flowage by the dam, but there were a few highlights nonetheless. Three immature Bald Eagles were perched in rather small trees near the dam, while a very dark Merlin sat very accommodatingly on the bridge itself. The other highlight was a lone Mute Swan swimming across the flowage. Complete list below.
