That awesome weather we had yesterday, nice enoug for a fight of broadwings, about 25 of them in 3 different occasions; still no house wrens yet, though I figured they should've been in by yesterday, so I went out just moments ago to hear if any came in, but to my surprise I had a brown thrasher and a hermit thrush, together milling around the shrubbery. And oddly with the winds from the NNW, I still saw a Redtail Hawk heading north, go figure. Also yesterday while sitting on the porch, out of no-where it seemed, a Ruby-crown Kinglet landed on the ground no more than 6 ft away, grabbed a bug and took off. Very cute. Best of luck with all your sightings, Paul Bruce, Winnebago Co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
