Buenna Vista Grasslands today. I Saw 2 large flocks of Common Redpolls, one
flock was attacked by a Merlin. Found 10 Greater Prairie Chickens on Mill Rd.
Northern Shrike on W. Only 5 Rough-legged Hawks, 1 Red-tail Hawk, plenty of
crows, American Tree Sparrows, 90 Wild Turkeys, 2 Am. Kestrels, 1 Bald Eagle.
Along 51 just south on my way up I saw a Raven sitting on a roadkill deer.
