A flock of around 100 Bohemian Waxwings is hanging around Nicolet College on
County G near Rhinelander. I saw them yesterday and others have seen them
over the last couple weeks. They like the fruit trees along the entrance
drive. If you don't see them there, look in the tops of the large deciduous
trees just East of County G. Especailly the tallest oaks. You can see them
from the college entry road. May also hear them from the road across from
the entrance (sorry don't know name of road). You may see them flying in a
big flock in this general area. Hang around a while and you may be treated
to good looks on the crabapples!
