Had 17 Bohemian Waxwings on one of our crabapple trees today throughout a wild,
snowy day. One had arrived alone on 11/16, but a flock came in today. Winter is
definitely making an appearance here today.
Have had many trumpeter swans in the general area - a birder friend counted 100
two weeks ago on a small patch of open water within Whitney Flowage in western
Vilas County.
