[wisb] Birding in Columbia and Dane Counties

What a grand day!
Same sightings as Sandy Rueckert with one exception [no hawks today] and a few 
additions. 
Thankful to see:
Red-breasted Merganser pair at Whalen Grade [possibly a lifer]
Northern Pintail at Nine Springs 
Ross Goose on Harvey Road north of Hwy 60 and Ross Geese at Wangness Road

Northern Harrier / Marsh Hawk that I saw was South of Hwy 60 on Harvey Road 
White-fronted Geese at Goose Pond viewed from Kampen Road

FOY:
Blue-winged Teal
Canvasback
Gadwall
Green-winged Teal
Herring Gull
Northern Pintail
Red-breasted Merganser
Ross Geese
White-fronted Geese
Wilson Snipe—thanks to birder showing me
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Two sparrows photographed to aid in making an ID

50 species today—left home before daybreak so no common feeder birds on list.
