I figured this would be okay to share, since it is a free event (except for state park entrance free). Please feel free to pass it along to others. Program: Breakfast with the Birds Date and time: Saturday, May 17 from 9-11am Location: Roche-A-Cri State Park (near Friendship in Adams County); the exact meeting place will be determined later. Signs will be at the front of the park when participants arrive. Details: Walk through the mixed forests, early succession habitats, and creek in search of neotropical migrants (and other birds, of course). Highlights from last year included Louisiana Waterthrush, Wood Thrush, Canada Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and Red-headed Woodpecker. At the end of the hike, there will be a brief presentation plus free food! The program is geared towards beginning birders, but everyone is welcome. Interested? If you plan on attending, you MUST RSVP to Denise Chamberlin (president of Friends of Roche-A-Cri) at chamberlinde2011@xxxxxxxx . Questions can be directed at her as well. Thank you, and good birding! Alyssa DeRubeis Lake Mills, IA #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
