Hey all-
While goose-chasing turkeys today, I had a few good birds outside of Baraboo
in the Baraboo Hills.

Best was a pair of Louisiana Waterthrushes already on territory along side a
rushing creek.. A nice reminder of spring, given that there was still snow
(really, packed hail) on the ground up there. No other warblers besides
Myrtles, though. Other finds were a Broad-winged Hawk, Fox Sparrow, numerous
Hermit Thrushes, territorial Field Sparrows and E. Towhees, displaying
Woodcock, and a calling Barred Owl.

Also fielded a second-hand report of Eared Grebes on Monona Bay today.
