While making supper tonight I looked out the window and saw a Purple Finch
(f) sitting on the deck in a seed spill.
Then a woodpecker flew in to a nearby tree. A nice male Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker in spring attire.
Earlier I was watching some chickadees check out my nest box by the garden.
At another box that I have filled with wood chips a Red-breasted Nuthatch
was removing pieces.
Anyone want a bunch of starlings or grackles I can send you them. They have
been raiding my feeders for 2 weeks now.
Good migration
