I have yet to see this posted here. Kenny Younger found and photographed a
Yellow-Crowned Night Heron this morning at Ho Nee Um in Madison. Around the
same time, another bird was photographed at Stricker’s Pond in Middleton.
These are only the 3rd and 4th records. of this species in Dane County. The
previous records are from 1989 and 1979.
