[wisb] 600+ Nighthawks - Bayfield County

A fine day in the yard today. Started with 11 warbler species seen from the
comfort of my dining room, six of which found their way into my bird bath.
Ended with 600+ C. Nighthawks streaming overhead while eating dinner on the
deck. Groups of 20-40 birds poured northeasterly onto the Bayfield Peninsula,
as they often do on southwesterly winds. My two-year-old son probably did a
better job counting them than I did...
