There are several out there. Deep Freeze is one of them that is very
popular. However, it does require you to have some reserved hard disk space.
Network versions are available as well.

I know of some software used especially in Educational settings to preserve
a machine's config & restore it to defaults at next reboot/logon, in case
users are "experimenting" a little too much.
What all do you use (or wished you used), how much does it cost, and how do
