Okay, so if I must stick with 5.5 for now, can I still put the new 5.5 on a windows 2000 member server in my NT 4 Domain? If I use Ex-Merge to move the data to the new server, will that work? merging 5.5 on NT4 to 5.5 on W2K? And is EX-Merge the right way to do this? I have never done anything with Exchange before so I am afraid I don't have a clue, although I have enough clues to see that this is not going to be easy! There is no way around this one. Other than that then you can do everything else you ask. What I would like to do is to install a fresh copy of Windows 2000 server on a new machine, install Exchange 2000, and then migrate the 5.5 information to the exchange 2000 machine. I am not running in an active directory environment, the 2000 server would simply be a member server in a NT 4.0 Domain. Is this possible?
