Subject: [windows2000] Setting up Exchange to work with the Internet

I've asked for some help on this before, but I would like some additional
information about it. Basically what I want to do is set up our Exchange
2000 Server to work as a regular email server on the Internet. When I've
asked on this list before, I was told that I have to contact our ISP and get
them to put a "MX" record into ??? What, exactly? And once they do that,
what am I supposed to do? Do I put an MX record somewhere in Exchange, so
that it can reciprocate? Basically, how do I set all of this stuff up?

I'm sure that I could read about this, too, but without knowing exactly what
it is I am doing, I don't know what to look for in the online documentation.

Thanks.

Rod
