Hi all, Have you had services just die on a computer? I have five of them... All the same brand and model (Dell Optiplex GX270). I initially installed one of them as I wanted it, then ran sysprep on the master and mirrored this master to the other four. Yes, it's a long and tedious way, but I wanted to try sysprep out now when I for once had five identical systems. Anyway, the computers worked fine for a month or so, and the problems started. One of the machines I manually reinstalled (without sysprep) but I still have the same problem with this one as the other four. All of them run WinXP SP2 English. I was alerted to the fact that something was wrong when some of the users using the new(ish) machines reported that the audio was gone. Checking the services, I noticed several services that were set to automatic start, weren't starting as they. On occasion they would start properly and then shutdown after a few minutes. Would you guys have any idea what's going on, because I'm at a loss here... I'd appreciate any info or hints on this problem.
