[windows2000] Old Domain is Alive Again

Good Morning,
We used to have the domain abc.com and then about 2 years ago we switched to
xyz.com. This morning I come in and notice all of this spam in my inbox.
The strange thing is that the spam is addressed to the first domain,
someone@xxxxxxxx My boss kept the 1st domain alive (he's long overdue to
kill it by now). The thing is that we don't use that domain for email
anymore.
How can this be?
