[windows2000] Re: OT - home usage

I know a solution, it's something used in some companies all over the
world.....a password....
And when mommy only knows the password, she has to type it to allow them
access to the computer....

And as stated before, for I'm also a parent, discipline works the
best........
Problem is TV stations don't really help with the stuff they broadcast
these days......a bit less violence would help us parents a lot....

Met vriendelijke groeten / With kind regards

I concur. 8-)

However, TS is not really necessary, as a regular win2k/xp-installation
has the "logon-hours" and "forcibly disconnect" policies available.

But discipline would really be the best cost-effective solution... 8-]

Message It's an old technology called a PARENT using DISCIPLINE.
It is a forgotten technology, but when used properly works great.
By the way it can also be used on the TV and Video games.

Well, if she got a server, set up terminal services, and then gave them
each their own unique logins, she could then set specific login hours,
and set it to forcibly disconnect them then their
login hours expire... :-)
