How about with a Sharpie then?
Our printers have stickers that say "IPS Printers  Printer ID: nnnn"
IPS is the company that services our printers.  They're cool, and anyone in
the Montgomery County area should check them out!  c:

(physically) your printers? We've tried several methods but they always seem
to get peeled off or disappear.
