We use some ID tags from Seton and put them on the back of the printer. We
also put a configuraton sticker (ID#, IPaddress, SN etc) on the inside of
the printer. On our HP printers, under the door where the toner cartridge
goes in. This works because no one on the shop floor opens (or is suppose
to) the door up.

The Seton tags are pretty durable and hard to remove.

For those of you who work in a manufacturing environment, how do you label
(physically) your printers? We've tried several methods but they always seem
to get peeled off or disappear.
