FWIW, I've never been able to see my WM-device on my home wifi-network, so I
don't see how anybody would be able to connect to it at all. One would assume
there'd have to be shares open and available on the device, but I haven't been
able to do that, or even find out if Windows Mobile is capable of it.



Your best bet is to grab a copy of nmap and run it against the Wifi address of
the WM device - if you have a Linux or Unix box, run it from that, the scans
take a VERY long time on a windows machine.

As I recall, there are a few ports which are open, and how many you have open
will also depend on what software you have installed on the WM device. For
what it's worth, unless you have an open port, then it's pretty hard to get
anything out of a device.

I'd have very few concerns about having my Windows Mobile device running on
Wifi - aside from the battery consumption side of things that is!
