Liberum help desk can use an access db and will do exactly what you want to
do. It is free under GPL and easy to set up. All you need is a webserver.

Subject: [windows2000] OT - Creating Help Desk software using MS Access..

  Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has tried creating their own help desk software
using MS Access, if so can you provide and tips or links to resources for a
job like this.. . we are basically looking for something small because we
have a team of 4 and as of right now our VP wants us to hand in word
documents with weekly updates of our tasks, projects etc. most of the
software I have seen out there allows users to open tickets with the support
departments and we are not looking for anything like that. We just want
something to keep track of our daily tasks and issues as well as creating
reports of these tasks..

  Thanks,

  Paul.
