One thing only: A gaming system can per definition not be a budget
system.

IMO there are only two sorts of systems; Office-systems (running
Office, Mail, surf and some simpler db-stuff) that just about any
crappy computer will and can cut it, and we have Gaming systems,
with at least 1G RAM, >2500MHz, fast disks and an even faster
graphics card.
