That works?? You don't get two folders of everything should the folder setup be the same in the two pst-files? Ie two Inbox-folders, two Sent-folders and so on? Thx for the hint, I'll try that. It's not like I need to do this twice-a-day or so, but usually when it happens then w/o exception it's one of the boss' HUGE pst-folders. He does get lots of mail and most of them are important, so cannot afford to lose anything. -- /Sorin >-----Original Message----- >From: cruggeri1220@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:cruggeri1220@xxxxxxxxx] >Sent: Wednesday, February 11, 2009 6:55 PM >To: Sorin Srbu >Subject: Re: [windows2000] Re: Merging pst-files > >I don't know if this helps, but, since most peoples pst's in this office look more like a >windows explorer, we usually import one into the other using outlook....Not quite >automated, but it does let you choose the entire pst at once. > >On Feb 11, 2009 8:29am, Sorin Srbu <sorin.srbu@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >> Thanks, both Glen and Jim, the manual method you describe definitely works, >> but is rather tedious as you mention. >> Imagine a scenario with a handful of pst-files and each folder contains >> thousands of mails.
