Never seen that problem. Why not just use an FTP client?

Anyone come across this... ?
Using IE to browse to a ftp site on a unix box. Can log in and copy
files etc.
BUT...
If I create a new folder (right click,new etc) it creates fine.. but
with the year set at 2004 - time and day/month are correct.
I got the sysadmin to check the date/time on this UNIX box and he says
it is OK. He says it's an IE issue.
Is there a work around or setting within IE that I can set ?
